Meet your Director

Hey everyone! I’m Ryan Childress, your Director of University Advancement. I’m really excited about working with all of you in SGA! My major (while subject to change) is Public Relations, with minors in Public Law and Technical Writing. PR is simply a backup for my ultimate goal of going to law school. Again, this is all subject to change. I originally wanted to be a chef, but then I got to high school and realized I couldn’t cook! Since coming to campus, I have been involved with a few different things. My freshman year I was on the University Debate Team. Concurrently, I served as the Residence Hall Association for Scholars House Hall Council. My sophomore year I was a Resident Assistant on the second floor of Scholars House. I also became an Assistant Debate Coach for Parkview High School. I served on the National Residence Hall Honorary executive board as the Residence Hall Association Liaison. This year, I am serving as a Law Clerk/Secretary for a local law firm. I’m still working as an Assistant Debate Coach. Also, I’m in SGA!!! I’m excited about working with all of you. I hope you have a great year and if you have any ideas, please don’t hesitate to talk to me about them. Take care!
