
Raquita Bolden is currently a Senior majoring in Excerise and Movement Science with a minor in Nutrition. As a recipient of the Multicultural Leardership scholarship, Raquita is honored to attend the only institution in Missouri with a Pubic Affairs mission. During the past three years she has been part of many multicultural organizations, such as Gospel Choir and Sister Circle. She has also been Miss Black and Gold representing the Sigma Theta chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Inc. Originaly from St. Charles, Missouri, she grew up with her mom brother and sister. Early in life she realized that she had a passion for leardership. Starting as early as middle school, she began working hard to make a difference in her community.
In September of 2009 she was selected to be the Director of Diversity and Public Affairs for the 2009 - 2010 academic year. The progams that she looks forward to planning most are the Alternative Spring Break and the V.O.I.C.E retreat. She plans to promote cultural competence, ethical leadership, and community engagment.
